No insects, no agriculture.
There are not many people study in entomology, especially in Malaysia.
And... my final year project is about entomology -.- It's so hard to find someone experienced to refer.
Malaysia is a tropical country, naturally we will have diversity of insects (although some are introduced). However, insects are under-appreciated here. We don't even know our own insects. Insects contribute to the agrobiodiversity. Which is why biocontrol works well in Malaysia! Spraying pesticide won't really help, it's merely destroying our agrobiodiversity.
So... Let's talk about some simple entomology here.
Plagarism strikes again :P
Wikipedia - Insects are a class of invertebrates within the arthropod phylum
that have a chitinous exoskeleton, a three-part body, three pairs of
jointed legs, compound eyes and one pair of antennae.
There are about 1 million species of insects described, they are the most dominant and diverse group of animal on Earth.
