Acalypha siamensis - Tea leaf

My favourite operation in landscaping - TRIMMING THE SHRUBSSSS!
OCD people I am.

So I have this Acalypha siamensis as my garden hedges.
It is a small-leaved shrub 1-3 m tall, which is often grown to make formal hedges.

It is rainy season recently and the shoots are coming out really fast.
More frequent maintenance is necessary to keep my hedge look neat.

Its local name is called Teh kampung.
In Malaysia, the leaves are dried to make tea.
It is believed to have function to cool down the body
