Schizolobium parahyba (Tower tree)
Used to have a lot around the town, however due to serious pest infection whereby almost the whole tree gone BALD! We have to remove the tree (I sure hope there is better solution than removing it!)
Prime suspect for this mess probably will be bagworm, a very hungry leaf eater. However, I have yet to have solid evidence that bagworm is the cause for this problem.
Tree on the left starting to be eaten up, tree on the right still healthy.
The bald-to-be tree, this is so freaking sad. A gloomy day make this whole picture so saddening.
